Delivery & Logistics

We'll get her there. Safely, on schedule.

Skippered deliveries, yard moves, and seasonal relocations, by sea or by road, run by experienced offshore crew.

The Idea

Getting a boat from A to B is a job in itself.

Whether it's a new purchase that needs bringing home, a move to a summer cruising ground, or a yard shift for a refit, relocating a vessel takes planning, experience, and the time to do it right. For most owners, taking a week off to run a delivery isn't realistic, and handing it to someone without offshore experience isn't worth the risk.

We deliver and relocate vessels by sea and by road across the upper North Island and beyond, with proper passage planning, weather routing, and an experienced offshore skipper at the helm. You get your boat where it needs to be, safely and on schedule, without giving up your own time.

The Service

What's included

  • Skippered deliveries

Coastal and offshore passages run by an experienced offshore skipper, with proper passage planning and weather routing so your boat arrives safely and on time.

  • Yard and marina moves

Short-haul relocations between yards, marinas, and haul-out facilities, coordinated around your service and antifoul schedule.

  • Road transport coordination

For trailer boats and vessels that travel best by road, we arrange and coordinate haulage with trusted operators.

  • Seasonal relocation

Moving your vessel to a summer cruising ground or a winter berth, and back again, without you having to take the time to do it yourself.

  • Pre-delivery checks

Systems, safety gear, and readiness confirmed before departure so nothing catches us out mid-passage.

  • Handover and reporting

A clear handover at the other end, with a report on the passage and the condition of the vessel on arrival.

Common Questions

FAQs

Who skippers the delivery?
Deliveries are run by an experienced offshore skipper, with additional crew sourced as the passage requires. Passage planning, weather routing, and safety are handled properly. This is offshore experience, not a favour from a mate.
Do you deliver by sea or by road?
Both, depending on what suits the vessel and the route. Larger boats generally travel best under their own keel with a delivery crew; trailer boats and some smaller vessels are often quicker and cheaper by road. We'll advise the right option and coordinate it either way.
Can delivery be combined with other work?
Yes, deliveries often pair with a haul-out, antifoul, or service at the destination yard, and we can coordinate the whole sequence so it's one joined-up job rather than several separate ones to organise.
